RAS MOHAMED NATIONAL PARK

Located on the very tip of the Sinai Penninsula, Ras Mohamed is a completely deserted coastline with no shelter, for more than a mile, up to the small bay named Marsa Ghozlani where the National Park begins.

The eastern coast of the Ras Mohamed peninsula is made up of a tall fossil coral reef that is interrupted for a few dozen meters by the only accessible beach in the area.

With many famous dive sites within the area, Ras Mohamed diving is definitely on the bucket list for most divers worldwide.

STRAITS OF TIRAN

The Strait of Tiran lies at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba and is continued by the west coast of Sinai and on the East by the Island of Tiran. In the middle of the of this channel are four coral reefs.

After the 19th Century English cartographers who drew the very 1st nautical map of the area gave them the names we all know today, those being:
  • Gordon Reef
  • Thomas Reef
  • Woodhouse
  • Jackson Reef
Jackson Reef is most certainly a outstanding dive site with the chance to see the wonderful Hammerheads!
